Luckett Elected to COSI Board

Jammes Luckett | November 21, 2020

I’m extremely excited to announce that I was elected to serve on the Community Board for COSI on November 19, 2020. My term is for three years. The Community Board is a prestigious board of community leaders elected to support and advance the mission of COSI (The Center of Science and Industry), recently named “#1 Science Museum in America” by USA Today.

Founded in 1964, COSI is has always been an innovative center for science and technology. It played a key role in inspiring the integration of art, science, and technology in my life as a child and as I set off for a career as an adult. In fact, I was student volunteer there for much of my middle school and high school years.

I look forward to working with a wide variety of voices to help continue to support this iconic organization that has meant so much to me. It’s genuinely a dream come true to be in such a position. I hope to make a huge difference for others to grow up with even more access to the rich education, experimentation, and possibilities that COSI offered me in my formative years.
