Whether you’re new here or you’ve visited previous incarnations of the Art Mechanix / GLR universe at any point since the late 1990s, “Welcome to Art Mechanix.”

It’s a complete revamp. A reintroduction. To ARMX. To Jammes. To Poperratic. To everything that comes directly from this place. From the imagination. From the heart.

Looking forward to meeting more of the true audience for this work and the more consistent support that tends to come with such things. Among the few I’ve already found, there have been requests for more ways to explore this unique world of sound, vision, and stories, and I’m thrilled to say that it’s finally here.

What’s New?

We’ve packed the revamped site with features to help you discover and sample more easily. Here’s a handful of the most helpfu features:

  • Translations: The site currently has native URLs for at least nine languages that we’ve identified from areas where our music has been streamed the most. Over time, we’ll be working to finish manual translations of menu items and a few pages that are expected not to change much. If you would like to help translate those or new languages, give us a shout!
  • Desktop and Mobile Views: All features are expected to work on both desktop and mobile devices. As of July 4th, the mobile view is still being adjusted. If you’re using a mobile device and experience any ongoing issues, let us know so that we can attempt to optimize for your device.
  • Listen & Explore: Our new music player lets you dive deep into the entire ARMX music catalog. You’ll find it at the bottom of every page. Album pages also contain tracklists that feed into it and help build the playlist further as you click on one. Enjoy continuous playback as you browse, create your own custom playlists, and take full control of your listening experience. Except for short tracks and interludes, samples are typically 90 seconds long. In the player, you can also click an artist or song title to go to the relevant page.
  • Meet Our Uncle Tele-Radio: While we’re on the topic of exploration… Uncle Tele-Radio (aka Babysitter) now also lives as a fun and mischievous chatbot that can help you learn more about the work here. Just click the TV in the lower right-hand side of the screen. Currently, Babysitter understands questions written in other languages but only responds in English. We’ll try to change that.
  • The Revamped Catalogue: The catalogue is off third-party platforms temporarily. ARMX is working to partner with independent-friendly distribution and platforms to offer you listening options and better value. We’re also currently reorganizing and reissuing our active release catalogue by band and genre for their distinct audiences. Once the new distro options are locked down, there’ll be select digital reissues, followed by vinyl and CD releases. We’re also chipping away at new mixes, remasters, and even new material.
  • Poperratic Returns to Its Roots: On that subject… Thrilled to return to the core sound that was established prior to the foray into soundtracks. Live shows are being planned as well.
  • Jammes Luckett Portfolio: While, of course, Art Mechanix is the primary site, Jammes’ professional music and audio samples have a dedicated portfolio site for those who would like to hire her to collaborate on new songs, consulting, soundtracks, post-production projects, and more.
  • Official Merch Shop: Our new merch shop is open! Browse everything from apparel and accessories to home goods, all with fast, affordable shipping from warehouses located in key spots around the world. If you have ideas for new items, colors, or designs, or notice any pricing or design or quirks that bother you, please let us know!
  • Visual & Archive Access: Take a deep dive into our photo gallery, video gallery, and interview archive. Plus, our press and media section now includes dedicated EPKs for both Poperratic and Jammes Luckett.
