It was founded by Ennio Morricone, Armando Trovajoli, Luis Bacalov and Piero Piccioni with the studio manager and producer Enrico De Melis in 1969. Founded in 1970 as 'Ortophonic', Forum Studios are based in Rome, in Parioli neighborhood, beneath the Basilica del Sacro Cuore di Maria, in piazza Euclide.

Forum Music Village is situated in the heart of Rome, in Parioli, an
elegant and vibrant area of the capital a few steps from the Historic Centre. Located in the completely refurbished basement of a church, the three state-of-the-art recording studios (Studio A – Studio B – Studio Master) meet a wide range of needs. Both analogical and digital recording & mixing is at your disposition. As well as using the Studios equipment, it is possible to make use of the organ and echo chamber in the church.
