Poperratic: Zero Hero @ Newark International Film Festival (9/2 – 9/7)

The animated music video for Poperratic’s “Zero Hero” is an Official Selection of the 2025 Newark International Film Festival. The video was directed and animated by Jammes Luckett.

Organizers confirmed that the film short was one of over 2,000 submissions from 85 countries. Located just 15 minutes from NYC (and in the birthplace of a little invention called celluloid film), NIFF is one of the fastest-growing film festivals in the Northeast and is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The festival takes place September 2-7 and will have a streaming component in addition to the regular festival. This listing will be updated with specific screening dates and showtimes when available.
