The best soundtracks are the ones you can't forget. They become part of the film's DNA, adding a layer of character, tone, and energy you can feel. That's the kind of work I’ll live for as your music supervisor and creative partner.
I'm someone who believes the right song, at the right moment, can elevate a project from good to unforgettable. There’s a huge difference between a song that just fits and one that takes things to the next level.
Drawing from knowledge of music across every genre and era, my job is to find the unexpected and fresh sounds that give a project its distinct character and energy—whether that’s up-and-coming talent, deep cuts, forgotten B-sides, or new uses for the classics. Any combination of these can create something truly magical.
I'm all about digging deep to find the perfect track. No cliches and on-the-nose lyrics. No clashing dialogue. No distracting tracks that have no business in your project. And definitely no tired songs used the same way a million times before.
With hands-on experience as a composer and songwriter who has licensed original music to clients both big and small, I understand every part of the process, from a director's first vision to the final placement. I work closely with directors and editors from spotting to final placement, ensuring the soundtrack we create is as compelling as the story on screen. I’ll be with you every step, ensuring the soundtrack we build together is as compelling as the film itself.
I'm also experienced when it comes to the business side of things, with extensive experience in licensing coordination and cue sheet submissions.
This passion for finding the right sound is what led to the successes I had on my best-known project, the Lionsgate film May. On that feature, I not only composed the score and wrote the original songs, but I also served as its music supervisor. The soundtrack I created has continued to receive critical praise for its distinct feel and narrative enhancement, standing the test of time even 20 years later. That’s what I’d like to do for you.
