Always the Weird Ones

A theme written for upcoming 1980s-set animated feature The Weird Kidz, paired with an alternate B-side written for the film.

“Always the Weird Ones” is a hard rock anthem that blends commanding riffs and driving rhythm with a sharp undercurrent of social criticism. Equal parts headbanger and rallying cry, it doesn’t just play loud, it speaks loud. 

The B-side, "Pocket Protector" leans into a driving 1980s synth-infused rock with a buoyant chorus.
