About this work
World In Your Eyes (WIYE) is a non-commercial educational web app exploring how perception shapes experience. Rather than describing how differently people and other species see, hear, and sense the world, WIYE lets you step directly into those perspectives — from human vision and hearing differences to the sensory worlds of animals, insects, and even extinct creatures reconstructed from fossil evidence. Every experience is honestly labeled as either a scientifically-grounded simulation or an illustrative visualization. Built with accessibility as a first principle rather than an afterthought, it's a tool for building empathy by making someone else's perspective, literally, something you can see and hear.
Currently in active development, with a private demo available upon request. Targeting K-12 classroom and homeschool educators, K-12 students, researchers, and science enthusiasts.
